The year coordinator is concerned with the welfare of all the year level students. He/she has the responsibility of ensuring a safe, ordered, predictable environment through the establishment and evaluation of systems, procedures and processes which provide all students with the freedom to pursue the school’s philosophy and objectives in a personally meaningful way.
Regional Showcase Awards for Excellence were held in Roma on June 4. Pittsworth SHS was successful in winning the regional award for Community and Industry Partnerships.
Our submission was based on our Agricultural program, both the curriculum and extra-curricular. fi cate I in Rural Industries. Additionally we are one of six schools to be involved in the Gateway Agribusiness program in partnership with the Department of Primary Industries.
The school cattle team have been extremely successful in their endeavours this year. Through these programs we as a school have developed strong partnerships with our community and local businesses. Our showcase success is because of this. In July we will know whether we progress to the State finals for Showcase.
