This school community provides a Chaplaincy program endorsed by the school’s Parents and Citizens’ Association and available on a voluntary basis to all students. The Chaplain is involved in a range of activities which happen at this school which are free of religious, spiritual and/or ethical content. These activities which include sporting days, sporting teams and open days are available to all students on a voluntary basis unless a parent or carer requests in writing that this is not to occur for their child or children.
Chaplains may also be involved in activities with religious, spiritual and/or ethical content and additional consent is sought from parent or carer for these specific activities.
Prior to commencement of any additional activities with religious, spiritual and/or ethical content in the school, parents or carers will be advised through the school newsletter and website.
congratulations to Condamine House on being successful in defending their 2009 title as champion Swimming House. In a closely contested carnival Yandilla and Condamine exchanged the lead several times. Eventually Condamine winning by the narrowist of margins. In a dominant performance both in and out of the pool, Condamine was judged as the winner of the House Spirit Award.
Student Investiture:
Our student Investiture ceremony took place last Thursday and it was pleasing to see the pride of students and parents as our Senior class were acknowledged and House Captains, TIP leaders, Class Captains, Prefects and School Captains took their pledges and received their badges.
