Pittsworth State High School caters for students from Year 8 to Year 12 and has served the community at its present site since 1967. It is situated 1.6 km east of the Pittsworth Civic Centre and provides for a Shire community of 5000 people and a town community of 2500. It also provides education programs for Year 11 and 12 students of Millmerran and district.

Earlier in the year students and parents nominated 9 teachers from our school for NEiTA teaching awards for their commitment to education at Pittsworth. I am pleased to be able to announce that Head of Department, Languages, Ms Kristy Thomson has been identified as one of sixty award recipients, nationally. I think that this is a thoroughly deserved and appropriate recognition for Ms Thomson who sets high expectations and challenges her students to rise to those expectations.
School Canteen Awarded:
The hard work and dedication of Mrs Kay Ott, the school’s canteen convenor has been recognized by her being awarded Regional School Canteen of the Year. This is a well deserved acknowledgement for the fantastic job that Kay does in the School Canteen.
