Students are encouraged to undertake work experience.

Resume

All students are encouraged to complete a resume. Students in the Work Education course will do so as part of their studies.

School-based Traineeships and Apprenticeships

We currently have over 60 students signed up for either an apprenticeship, traineeship or undertaking certificate courses of study at TAFE. This means that students are able to fast-track their achievements in a chosen field and pursue their career pathways while they are still at school.

Training Awards

Each year many of our students are nominated and several of our students are recognised for their outstanding achievements in the workplace as trainees or apprentices. We are pleased to be able to recognise the great and varied achievements of our students in such diverse fields.

1B

This is the venue within the school where students have access to specialist staff to assist students with all VET enquiries. There are a number of computers on which students may work to complete their training modules or resumes.

Advertisements relating to VET are placed on noticeboards both inside and outside the room and current publications such as job guides and career information are available.
