Our school

Pittsworth State High School is a rural secondary school located in Pittsworth, about 30 minutes west of Toowoomba. We currently cater for just under 500 students and offer a broad range of curriculum options.

Condamine, Beauaraba and Yandilla are our school houses and these form the basis for interhouse sporting, academic and cultural competitions. Lunchtime events are scheduled at various times throughout the year such as the junior secondary beach volleyball interhouse competition.
We offer leadership opportunities to students including the positions of school captains, vice-captains, prefects, house captains, care group captains and Junior Secondary leaders.
At Pittsworth State High School we have a proud tradition in preparing students for tertiary study, further training and work options which aligns with our vision of "Shaping Futures".
Please feel free to contact the school should you need information regarding enrolling your child with us.
